Former Santa Fe Depot in Barstow, California

In Barstow, the hulk of Santa Fe's Casa Del Desierto stood silently vacant in 1984. This image only shows the central concourse section. There was once a Harvey House here. Today, it has been refurbished and is used by Amtrak and Greyhound as well as being the home of the Western America Rail Museum and the Mother Road Route 66 Museum
