What's Left at Hackamore
Once an important train order station on the old SP Modoc Line, Hackamore was home to sundry railroad facilities. In addition to the train order office, there were a few company homes, a water tank, and, in the very beginning a small roundhouse or engine shed. Today, all that remains are the dregs below what once was the tank, and a concrete pad which once supported a company house. Hackamore siding was removed years ago.
