Keeping the Railroad Running: People are the Backbone When I happened upon Modoc Northern Signal Maintainer F.W. Mitchell at the Washburn Way grade crossing in Klamath Falls today, he was in the process of doing voltage checks in the equipment bungalow. He kindly consented to my request to take a few photos as he worked.
