Texum Tripleheader

7780 and 1011 are back in service, heading up a long train with LCRR #700.  In these photos, the train is waiting at Texum for clearance to enter Union Pacific's trackage to Klamath Falls Yard.

The train consisted mostly of Union Pacific's MOW flatcars being returned to their home rails after being parked on MNRR sidings while UP's tie gangs were working on their mainline in the area, with a handful of revenue cars just ahead of the cabose.  My GPS reckoning put the train length at approximately 1.1 miles, stretching from the east switch of Texum wye to about a hundred yards west of the Washburn Way grade crossing.

It was good to see the GE's back in service!
