S.P. Cab-Forward Mallet # 4200

Probably one of the most distinctive and well-known Southern Pacific steam locomotives was the Cab-Forward.  The locomotives were designed this way so that crews would better weather the long tunnels in Western mountains.  Note to the purist: The actual SP4200 was an MM2 Class 4-6-6-2 -- much different than my rendition of an AC-10 Class 4-8-8-2 (which should have been numbered in the 4205-4244 series).
