Klamath Northern Railway

(KNOR)

Located in northern Klamath County, this railroad is owned and operated by, and serves, the International Forest Products, Ltd. (INTERFOR) sawmill in Gilchrist, Oregon (map location). The line is about 10.5 miles long, and interchanges with the Union Pacific at Gilchrist Junction (map location).  Although there was no train running during my visit, I hope to come back again and catch a train in operation someday.
